Dentures

When all else fails, dentures are considered  the last resort, nevertheless they can aid in chewing, improve speech and boost self confidence in edentulous people.

Dentures can be either partial (replacing the few missing teeth), or complete.

•   Partial dentures : Are used where only some teeth are missing and the existing ones are strong enough to support a partial denture with clasps, precision or semi-precision attachments. It is made of acrylic or a combination of a metal framework and acrylic.

•   Complete dentures : Where all the teeth are missing and full replacements are needed.

Implant Retained Dentures

This is a tremendous improvement over regular dentures, as retention is greatly enhanced with strategically placed implants in the jaw, thus adding stability and comfort.
